At first, the wagons on the Oregon Trail often pulled by horses were called Conestoga wagons. Conestoga wagons were usually too big and heavy, so they converted farm trailers into Prairie Schooners that were used and pulled by oxen.

Answer: Prairie Schooners

I hope this helps!
