Artists from the Romanticism (from the late 18th century to the early 19th century) created their works on literature, painting, music, etc. giving special focus to human emotion, imagination and vision as a counterpart from the rational, calm and order which the Classisism had embodied a time before.

Some famous painters, musicians and writers from that time were Francisco de Goya, Ludwig van Beethoven and Mary Shelley.
