The derivative is just the slope. So it's constant negative for the line up to x=-3. Then we have a parabola that will go linearly from a positive slope to zero at the origin to a negative slope at x=3. Then a constant positive slope.

So we're looking for flat negative line up to x=-3, linear starting positive and through the origin ending negative at x=3, then a flat positive.

Answer: third choice
