Why should you call 9-1-1 or the designated number before caring for a victim ?

You should call 911 or a designated number before caring for a victim because you might not no exactly what to do and if you wait it could take to long so if you call 911 they are trained for any situation and could help you immediately until the fire department,police,or ambulance come
