If you have had no special training what type of thermometer should you use to check a 2 yr olds temp

you should use an electronic ear thermometer. you just have to turn it on, place it in the child’s ear, and read the temperature on the digital screen when it beeps. it is not a choking hazard and doesn’t take much time.
