Answer: A) Predation

A limiting factor can be define as an ecological factor which decreases the abundance and distribution of the population of the species. The density dependent limiting factor is the one which shows drastic effects depending upon the number of individuals in the population.

Predation is the example of density dependent limiting factor. Predation refers to the ecological interaction in which one organism kills another in order to obtain it as food. If the prey population is found in huge cluster it will attract the population of predator as source of food. Hence, the population of prey will decline.
