One of the perceived problems with the Articles of Confederation was the weakness of the government to enforce its will on the thirteen separate states; interestingly enough, in modern times, the federal government comes under fire for having too much power. Would the Articles of Confederation have had more success as a charter in modern America or was it so fundamentally flawed that it would never have worked?

it was so fundamentally flawed that they couldn't do anything, they couldn't tax so on so forth and they couldn't go to war without asking for approval

Hello,

Well It would have been fine in modern America with a couple of changes. The government would have limited powers. The citizens would have some rights to.
