36+64=100

sqrt(100) = 10

TSP makes a right triangle with TS and TP being the sides and SP being the hypotenuse.


Using the Pythagorean theorem and the two given sides you can solve for the hypotenuse.


SP = √6^2 + 8^2

SP = √36+64

SP = √100

SP = 10 cm.
