I will be trying to get the equation into slope-intercept form:

y = mx + b

"m" is the slope, "b" is the y-intercept

6x + 7y = 14 Isolate the "y". First subtract 6x on both sides

7y = 14 - 6x Divide 7 on both sides

y=2-(6)/(7) x or
y = -(6)/(7)x+2

The slope is
-(6)/(7)

The y-intercept is 2
