For this case we have to find the value of
h (x)when
x = -7, for this we must replace the value of
x = -7 in the given equation. We have:

h (x) = | 3x | - 1

Substituting
x = -7

h (-7) = | 3 (-7) | - 1

Considering what
+ * - = -

h (-7) = | -21 | -1

Taking into account that by definition;
| -a | = a

h (-7) = 21-1\\h (-7) = 20

So,
h (-7) = 20
