The value is 1/2. First, you multiply both sides by 10. Then move the constant to the right. After that, you add the numbers and divide both sides by 8.

4/5x−1/10=3/10

SIMPLIFY

4/5x+−1/10=3/10

ADD 1/10 TO BOTH SIDES

4/5x+−1/10+1/10=3/10+1/10

MULTIPLY BOTH SIDES BY 5/4

(5/4)*(4/5x)=(5/4)*(2/5)

x=1/2
