Slope intercept form is y = mx + b. m is the slope and b is the y-intercept (where the line intersects with the y-axis). The slope (2) and the y intercept (6) is already given, so you just sub in the m and b values to get the equation of the line.

y = mx + b

y = 2x + 6

Ok so m=2 and b=6

So we just have to put it into an equation.

y=2x+6
