GDP or Gross Domestic Product does not include intermediate goods and services or factor business for which there is no record. Intermediate goods are those used up entirely in the production of final goods. To conclude GDP is the total market value of final goods and services produced in an economy during a one year period by factors of production within the nation's borders. It represents the dollar value of the flow of final production over a one year period.
