line equation y=-3/4x+2

perpeneicular lines have slopes that multiply to get -1

for y=-3/4x+2

slope is -3/4

so if the other slope is ? then

-3/4 * ?=-1

?=4/3

y=mx+b, m=slope and b=y-intercept

we want slope o 4/3 and y intercept of 5

y=(4)/(3)x+5 is the equation
