How can I find the y intercept of a line given the slope and point

Answer:

Use the formula or other method

Explanation:

The formula is y=mx+b

y=the y coordinate

m=slope

x=the x coordinate

b=intercept

Rember when writing intercept you write it as (0,b)

I don't know what the other method is called but pretend x=o and using the formula given try to find y, the above method works better though
