The first step in PEMDAS is to do whatever's in the parenthesis. So, this would be the 6.8 bit.

6.8 times 6.7 is 45.56 and then 6.8 times 7.2 which is 48,96

Now we can also do the second set of parenthesis. 2 times 4.6 is 9.2, and 2 times 1.2 is 2.4

The equation now reads- (45.56 - 48.96) - (9.2 + 2.4)

All we have to do is evaluate what's in the parenthesis, the first set equals -3.4 and the second set equals 11.6

So, now our expression reads, -3.4 minus 11.6 which equals -15
