Patrick Henry's writings connect with the later causes of the Revolutionary War introducing the Virginian Resolves on may 1765.
In that document, Henry stated that the colonist had the same rights of the English people, as well as the right to impose taxes through its representatives.
Henry's writings inspired other colonies to pass resolutions like the one stated in the Virginian Resolves.
