The cave also contains recent painting of human figures that are 13,000 to 20,000 year old and ancient hand stencils. The discovery was announced in the Journal Nature. The drawing were first discovered in 1994. Earlier the ivory figurines of animals and humans carved in Germany was believed to be the oldest figurative art.
