In an equation with the form y = mx + b, the slope is m, the y-intercept is b, and the x-intercept is found when you sub 0 in for y.

Based on this, in the equation y = 1/5x - 3/5, 1/5 is the slope and 3/5 is the y-intercept. Let's find the x-intercept:

0 = 1/5x - 3/5

3/5 = 1/5x

(3/5) / (1/5) = x

x = 3

The x-intercept is, I believe, 3. Hope this helps!
