The temperature in Canada dropped rapidly over five consecutive hours from 0 degrees to -50 degrees. If the temperature dropped the same amount each hour, how much did the temperature change each hour?

it dropped 10 degrees remember when dividing integers divide the numerals then apply sign rules.

50/5hours=10 degrees an hour. This is a unit rate. Divide the denominator by itself to get one. Then divide the numerator by itself to get the rate. So the unit rate is ten degrees per hour.
