An exponent

For example the power in
5^(2) is the 2. It is how many times the 5 is multiplying itself. In this case 5 would multiply itself 2 times.

So... not 5 x 2, but 5 x 5

Answer

It is the rate of doing work

Step-by-step explanation

Power can be defined as the ability to influence the behavior of others and resist unwanted influence in return.

In physics, power is rate of doing work, or it’s the amount of energy transferred per unit time. Power is a scalar quantity mean a specific direction is not required for it.

Being the rate of work, the equation for power can be written:

Power = Work/Time

Work = F * d

For example

You are running upstair, you are applying force to cover some distance in specific time
