Overdrawing, also known as over-drafting, happens when your account balance goes into negative, in other words the amount of balance goes below zero. To understand this, imagine you have $100 in your bank account and you happen to use $150 instead so your account will show an overdraw of $50 which you will have to pay later.

Here, Tyler has used $240.43 from the bank so if he deposits $53.64 and $93.76 respectively, they won't add in his account but will be adjusted for the bank's amount he used earlier ($240.43 in this case).

To solve this, just add these three values:

-240.43 (do not forget to add the negative sign here)

+053.64

+093.76

_______

-93.03 (Tyler still has an overdrawn balance of -$93.03)
