Hey there mate :)

In accordance with Constantinople history,

In the year 1204, the crusader armies captured and destroyed many parts of Constantinople. After then, capturing of the city, the Latin Empire (known as Byzantines) .

This was a big blow to its glorious history. It became a major turning point in medieval history. The Crusaders' decision to attack the world's largest Christian city was unprecedented and immediately controversial. Reports of Crusader looting and brutality scandalised and horrified the Orthodox world. Even the relations between the Catholic and Orthodox churches were disastrous for many centuries afterwards. Still, its consequences are affecting the people.
