"Ballroom dancing" and "the tango" are noun phrases that rename "two kinds of performance art" and so they are appositive phrases.

Participle phrase example: *Sleeping soundly,* I dreamed of Italy.

Infinitive phrase example: I have decided *to go back to Italy.*
