Whats the difference between temperate forest and temperate rainforest?

One main difference between rainforests and temperate forests would be their location. Rainforests are located around the equator, while temperate forests are more north. Along with location, there is also precipitation. Rainforests significantly get more rainfall than temperate forests. Rainforests also have warmer temperatures then temperate forests do.

felt like this needed a better answer. Hope this helps.
