The biggest motivation for the rural-to-urban migration is the steady employment, because living in the rural area people don’t get as many opportunities as in the urban area.

Also, in rural areas people didn’t have guarantee of work rights, such as contracts, work hours, etc. Having a job in urban areas meant having all rights guaranteed.
