What is the percent error in the student's determination of the volume? Make sure it is in correct sig figs.

Volume of the wood = 50 * 10 * 5

= 2500 cm^3

Difference between this and students result

= 2500 - 2490 = 10 cm^3

Percent error = 10 * 100 / 2500

= 0.4 % answer
