Errors often occurs during the phase of the data collection and processing stages. To decrease the number of errors it is important for scientist to do the measurements right. The most common are random errors (by unknwn changes) in measurement instrument use and calibration or faulty measurement equipment. You can reduce the random errors by taking multiple measurements and increasing sample sizes.
