My work: This is Answer would be correct, because in the sentence it says “the trumpet summons us”. In life trumpets can summon, but only people themselves. Personification means to give an object of something a human quality when really it can’t.

Even though the trumpet is not a person, it is given a human like quality, the ability to summon "us".
