Using the order of operations rule, solve the following: 12 ÷ 2 + 4 – 2 × 3 = ?

12 ÷2+4-2×3=

First you would do the division because there are no parentheses and no exponents and you would end up with

6+4-2×3

Then you do the multiplication and would end up with

6+4- 6

Next is addition

10-6

and then simplify and you end up with 4

The answer is 4. A good way to solve order of operations is through PEMDAS
