distance between woman and river is 4.2 km

speed of the woman = 2.2 m/s

now the time taken by the woman to reach the river is given as

t = (d)/(v)

t = (4200)/(2.2)

t = 1909.1 s

now we have to find the distance covered by the dog in the same time

d = v_(dog) * t

d = 4 * 1909.1

d = 7636.4 m = 7.636 km

so the distance covered will be 7.636 km
