The three cell populations in the body that do not routinely undergo cell division are- nerve cells,brain cells and cardiac muscle cells.

If these cells die once, they will not regrow again. This is the reason that heart attacks, strokes etc. cannot be treated properly because if 90 percent cells damage in the patient's body, they cannot recover and regrow again and cannot heal properly.
