\bf A(\stackrel{x_1}{0}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{1})\qquad B(\stackrel{x_2}{2}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{7}) \\\\\\ slope = m\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{7-1}{2-0}\implies \cfrac{6}{2}\implies 3 \\\\[-0.35em] \rule{34em}{0.25pt}\\\\ C(\stackrel{x_1}{2}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{5})\qquad D(\stackrel{x_2}{3}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{1}) \\\\\\ slope = m\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{1-5}{3-2}\implies \cfrac{-4}{1}\implies -4
