What is the role macromolecules play in relation to life on earth

There are four types of macromolecule :

1)Carbohydrate

2) Protein

3) Lipids

4) Nucleic acids

Carbohydrate: They store energy, provide fuel and they are main buliding structurein body, main source of energy ,Structure of plant cell wall.

Nucleic Acids: DNA and RNA are nucleic acid , they store and transfer information .

Lipids: They store fats and energy . They are insulator.

Protein: They generally provide structural support , transport, enzymes , movements and defense.

So, these are the macromolecule which play important role in our life.
