How does the nation geography differ as you travel across the 50 states?

The geography of the United States is very different from one place to another, and it is due to the sheer size of the country, as well as all the geological activities that influenced it.

So if travel from state to state, different types of landscapes will appear, from semi arid and arid places in the west, across high mountains with dry plateaus as you move towards east, then vast lowlands through the central part of the country, and then smaller elongated mountains and hills, and at the end lowlands alongside the eastern coast of the country.
