Correct answer: C) Nucleus

The nucleus is a highly specialized structure that function as information processing and administrative unit of the cell.

Nucleus has two main function, it stores the cell genetic material or the DNA and co-ordinates the cells activity, which include growth, metabolism, reproduction and protein synthesis.

It is composed of nucleoprotein and nucleoplasm from which nucleoli and chromosomes arise. It is an organelle, which is found in eukaryotic cells. It contains the majority of the cell's genetic material which is enclosed inside the nuclear membrane.
