Remember that the formula for area of a circle is (
r is the radius of the circle):

A = \pi r^2

Since the radius is one-half of the diameter, we can say that the radius of this circle is 1.5 (or 3/2) m. Using this information, we can now find the area of the circle:

A = \pi \Big((3)/(2)\Big)^2

\boxed{A = (9)/(4)\pi}

Our answer is
\boxed{(9)/(4)\pi \,\,\textrm{m}^2}.

Area is the circle is given by the formula of

A = Pi r^2

Since Pi is equal to 3.14159...

We do not need to use it in the Calculation as it already is included in the final answer.

A = Pi . 1.5^2.

A = Pi • 9/4

A = Pi • 4.5m^2.
