Executive Order 8802 integrated the U.S's defense industry.
The executive order 8802 was an order enacted on June 25, 1941, by Franklin D. Roosevelt, the president at that time, which purpose was to promote equal job opportunities by prohibiting racial discrimination in the nation's defense industry and the government. The order also established the Fair Employment Practice Committee to help enforce the order.
