Round the number 8.738 to the nearest one

I believe it is 9 because of you are rounding to the ones place, you need to round the number before the decimal. You do that by using the number to its right, and if the number to the right of greater than 5, you have to round your number. In this case, 7 is greater than 5, so I round 8 to 9. I hope this was a decent explanation! :)
