Well buying organic is expensive because the product is much much harder to grow. No pesticides or fertilizer means there's a very good chance of an unsuccessful harvenst

That is true. It is much cheaper and economically safer for farms to not grow organic foods. I’m fact, sometimes it is even better for the environment for food to not be grown organically as it puts less stress on the farmland.
