first find the greatest common factor which is 3.

now write the GCF first, and then in parentheses, divide each term by the GCF;

3(108/3 + (-3x^2/3)
3(36 - x^2)
3(6^2 - x^2)

use the difference of squares;
3(6 + x)(6 - x)

hope this helped!
