Here are the fractions:

(3)/(10) , (4)/(5) , (1)/(2)

The denominator is the bottom number. these are the bottom numbers:

10,5,2

List the factors of each number:

10 - 1, 2, 5, 10

1 * 10 = 10 \\ 2 * 5 = 10

5 - 1, 5

1 * 5= 5

2 - 1, 2

1 * 2 = 2

The denominators are bold. For the number 10, all the denominators are there. Therefore, the LCD is 10

The least common denominator, just looking at the fractions, is 10.

The denominator is the number below the division sign.

Our denominators here are 10, 5, and 2.

All of these numbers fit evenly into 10, and ten is the lowest denominator they could all be.

Your answer is 10.
