Answer and Explanation:

The seven characteristics of life for an organism are:

• Growth,

• Metabolism

• reproduction,

• cellular organization,

• homeostasis,

• heredity,

• And response to stimuli.

A house cat is a living organism which exhibit metabolism. It can mate with another cat which will make the cat reproduce. A cat has complex body structure like its heart that functions properly which means cats have cellular organization. It shows homeostasis by meeting the balance its body needs to survive. A house can reproduce and its young have same characteristics as the mother cat does so it is the property of heredity. Cat responses to stimuli to meet its basic needs like running away if something comes after it. Since all the characteristics are fulfilled.
