Cheetahs can run very fast for a period of time. On the other hand, Gazelles do not run as fast as Cheetahs. So why Can a Gazelle escape a Cheetah? Although Gazelle's are slower, they run for a very long time. They go in a zig-zag pattern to tire the Cheetah, and eventually, they get away.
