Before the arrival of the Europeans to the American continent, Native Americans were mostly hunters and fishermen. They all lived in organized tribes, constantly moving through the continent in search for animals, water and shelter.
Once they started to grew their own food, came the stability and the chance for prosperity. Also, the chance to stay in one place and not be preoccupied with matters of their very existence, they had a chance to form stronger bonds and grow as a community.
