Answer: Both of them are correct.

Explanation: The temperature of a heater can be controled by regulating the amout of coolant that flows into the heater core, now, this "coolant" can be different things, like water or, particular to the question, air.

So both technicains are correct in this case.

Both technicians A and B are correct because it is both true that heater temp can be controlled thru regulating the amount of coolant or the amount of air flowing thru the heater core. A heater core is used in heating a vehicle’s cabin and it is a radiator-like device.
