In the figure measure of arc IJK=296 given

So remaining angle 360-296=64 degrees

We know by circle theorem : An Angle formed by a chord and a tangent that intersect on a circle is half the measure of the intercepted arc

So <KIL= half of 64=32 degrees

< KIL= 32 degrees.

A tangent is perpendicular to the radius and hence the diameter.

<JIL=90

< JIK= <JIL-<KIL

<JIK=90- 32

< JIK=58 DEGREES.
