The Answer is D) They refused to follow Roman civil religion

During the 4th Century A.D. Romans worshipped an emporer named Emporer Constantine. Before then, Christians got int rouble and put to death becaues they refused to worship the Emporer as A God. (Not THE God.)

The answer is D) They refused to follow Roman civil religion

The Romans saw their opposition as a threat to the Empire's future.

They feared that this belief will spread and eventually lead a riot against the Emperor.

Their thinking comes from the fact that Romans wanted absolute allegiance to the state a.k.a the Emperor. But Christians' and Jews' saw this as Emperor = God and opposed that.
