Remark
What you are being asked to do is estimate the answer which means pick 2 numbers that will tell you the approximate answer when you divide 5071 by 62.
Argument
B
I don't think that's your best pair to use for the estimate. 70 is too large and your answer will be too small.
C
5000 divide by 60 won't work either. Or at least not very well. The problem is that unless you can divide these two numbers and get an answer, you will probably have to get your calculator out. 83 is the rough answer.
D
5100 divided by 60. That's even worse than C
A is likely your best answer
4800 divided by 60 = 80. Remember, it is just an estimate. It's not intended to be the right exact answer.
The exact answer is 81.79. If the question was open ended and you gave that as your answer when you were told to estimate, the exact answer would be marked incorrect.
