does this essay use the preterit and imperfect tenses correctly?

Cúando era niña, iba al museo Carnegie en Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Tenía ocho años, y ese año aprendí mucho del museo. Me divertí mucho. Iba uno o dos veces por mes, y cada vez aprendía algo diferente y interesante.

instead of just writing iba you should say, "yo iba una o dos." instead of aprendia it would be aprendi
